What does the white diamond-shaped marking painted on the road warn you about?
A white diamond road marking gives advance warning of a pedestrian crossing. Slow down, look for people and be ready to stop.

The diamond is an advance warning, not a place where you must always stop. Give way at the crossing as required, including to pedestrians obviously waiting to use it. This is an original practice question based on NZTA guidance, not an official test item.
